Emilie is a graduate of Carleton University’s communications and political science programs. After getting her degree, she spent time working in the world of public affairs doing data analysis, and in television production. A long-time lover of books, Emilie found her way to publishing where she now combines her background in communications with her love of the written word. She now works with authors to create comprehensive plans to help build their brands and connect with new readers, with a strong focus on Facebook and AMS advertising.
When she isn’t reading or busy analyzing advertising data, Emilie can be found binge-watching more TV shows than any one person should really watch, cooking up more food than she can reasonably eat, plotting a story idea that will never see the light of day, or planning her next trip. Kelly has been a lover of books since her teens, borrowing her mother’s fiction novels as often as possible. After years of reading murder mysteries, she picked up her first romance novel in 2006 and fell in love with the genre.
Along with books, Kelly’s other great passion is art. Having a creative mind at an early age, she’s had her artwork published in literary magazines, which led her to pursue her education at Dakota State University, majoring in art/art history. Combining her love of books with art, Kelly specializes in graphic design, helping authors by creating unique graphics tailored to their needs.
When Kelly isn’t reading, found on social media, or crafting digital graphics, she enjoys spending time with her family, working on puzzles, traveling, and watching baseball. She lives in Arizona with her husband, 2 children, and their puppy, Eloise. You can follow her on Twitter @KellyAEmery and Instagram @kelly_emery_.
Malissa is a graduate of Troy State University with a degree in history. Her love of stories of all kinds was instilled in her at a young age through her beloved grandfather, Da’s example and encouragement.
Malissa grew up as an Air Force ‘Brat’ and married into the Army. Life as a military spouse has given her a passion for being of service to others. After a lifetime as a military dependent, she is now looking forward to her husband’s eventual retirement from the Service and one day settling into her forever home surrounded by books, Highland coos, and rescue dogs.
Malissa’s passion for books has led her on one of the most favorite adventures of her life: traveling, fangirling, volunteering/working at book events, blogging, and supporting authors. When not reading or promoting books, she is homeschooling her two daughters, dressing up in cosplay and historical dress, dreaming of her future farm, and caring for her ‘little zoo’ that includes two dogs, two guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, two daughters, and her husband.
